Please report to the clinic by 9.00 am.
Please be on 12 hours of fasting. i.e. please have your dinner the previous night by 9.00 pm. Do not consume any food or fluid after that. Only water can be consumed.
Please take one tablet Dulcolux and one tablet Festal after dinner prior to the health check up.
Please have plenty of water (4 to 5 glasses) one hour prior to the health check up. Please note that a full bladder is required for the USG.

Please get your urine sample at the time of the health check up. Please make sure your name, age and sex, is written on the container.
Please collect the urine and stool containers from the clinic or from any nearby pharmacy. You can also give the urine sample in the clinic.
PFor Males: You might be required to shave your chest for TMT.
If you are on any medication then please get in touch with the doctor prior to the health check up. It is advisable to bring your old prescriptions,medicines along with you and discuss it with the doctor.Please inform the clinic if you are diabetic.

Please do not do X-RAY or TMT if you are pregnant.
Instructions for TMT patient
Medication: Withhold calcium channel blocker (Amlodipine),Nitrate for 24 hrs.
Withhold Beta blocker (Atenolol,Metoprolol,Nebivolol,Carvedilol,
Bisoprolol etc.) for 48 hrs.
For Male Patient:Chest hair should be shaved.
Do not overeat just for TMT
Do not smoke just for TMT.
Always come with doctor’s prescription and previous records.

1) Technician in TMT room, 2) Consultant Referring Doctor.
Spirometry Instructions
Withhold inhaler (long acting broncodialator) for at least 12 hrs & short acting
bronchodilator before spirometry. This also includes bronchodialator & steroid
tabs or syrup.
Do not smoke (atleast 3 hrs gap) before / prior to test.

Do not take coffee just before the test (atleast 2 hrs gap).
Perferrably spirometry should be done before TMT or after taking 30 minutes of doing TMT.
Do not wear very tight clothing during the procedure.
Spirometry is not recommended for patient having distressing cough.
Remove denture before procedure. Mouth should be clean, Supari, lozens, chewing
gum or any types of things should be removed.
It is not advisable to do spirometry if you have acute & severe breathlessness.
